what you need do is download both files. after which, run the removal tool first.. then, install the patch from microsoft to prevent being infected again




last reminder... before you do install xp.. download the patch first and store it in your Hard drive.. since if you install xp first, you wont be able to download the patch in time (the virus will infect your system a lot faster)

what is recommended is that you download the patches from another computer (like a computer running win9 save the patches on a removable media (CD,flash drives, etc). store it on your computer and then run the patch.

last notes. after running the patch and you can now continue browsing the internet without any problems, i strongly suggest you download updates to your windows to prevent further infection from known viruses
